Growth spurt
At four months, Sophie weighs 6.1 kilos and measures 61.5 centimeters, right in the middle of the growth chart. Nevertheless, she can easily and comfortably fit into 6-9 months clothing. No doubt that babies are getting bigger, but, dude, children’s clothes companies should keep up.
Sophie is also a sleepaholic! 11-13 hours of uninterrupted sleep in the evening is now the norm. And sometimes, even if she’s already awake in the morning, she calmly stays in her crib and patiently waits for Mommy and Daddy to pick her up … often with a HUGE smile!

Sophie in the neighborhood
There’s a vineyard and a tiny farm close to our house where we normally take a long walk. Ah, it’s so refreshing to breathe the fresh air and marvel at the Lake of Zurich and the Swiss Alps on clear days.

Let’s hope 2009 was a good vintage year for our neighborhood vineyard.

A lonely tree … or two!
I’ve made it!
Well, I’ve lost all my prego weight … woohoo! I guess all that walking in our neighborhood helped. Thank goodness as it would have been totally depressing to lose my clothes. But I still have some major toning exercises to do since my body shape is no longer as it was; my pants are still somewhat tight, oops! Oh, but talk about shoes … mmm … I’m still unsure whether my feet grew by half a size or not. I can fit into most of my shoes but some heels are kind of tight. Probably my feet just got wider and fatter. But before I totally give up on some of my fab shoes, I think I’m going to get them stretched baby!
Until my next post … take care!
